Our local mushrooms are in restaurants, farmer’s markets and independent grocery stores. Growing for Good gives back by donating 50% of all proceeds to educate girls and young women in Central America.

King Trumpets are savory and is characteristic of broths and cooked meats with a soft, crunchy texture, and a mild flavor reminiscent of abalone.

Mountain Lions Mane


Lions Mane’s flavor and texture is similar to crab or lobster meat: a sweet savory flavor, and meaty stringy texture.

Mountain Pioppino


This mushroom is characterized by its crisp, crunchy texture and delicious earthy flavor. Great in stir-fry, sauces or miso.

Mountain Oyster


Oyster Mushrooms have a mild flavor and more tender consistency. They have a slightly chewy texture and are soft with a bittersweet aroma reminiscent of anise. When cooked, they have a mild and nutty, seafood-like flavor and a sweet woodsy taste.

Mountain Chestnut


This mushroom is tasty and meaty and is palatable whether raw or cooked. They have a full flavor that is brought out with thorough cooking. We recommend you use its rich, nutty flavor as a compliment to soups, stews, casseroles.
